Multibanner Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Multibanner: LED & 3D Text Banner ("the App"), developed by Jugaad Media, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App on Android. This policy applies specifically to Multibanner and is separate from the privacy policy covering our browser extensions.

1. Information We Collect

Multibanner is a display/banner app that runs primarily on your device. We collect the following categories of information:

App diagnostics and usage (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics): We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage (such as which features and screens are used) and Firebase Crashlytics to receive automatic crash and error reports so we can fix bugs. This data is tied to an anonymous device/installation identifier, not your name or contact details.

Device-to-device sync data: If you use Multibanner's multi-device sync feature to mirror a banner across multiple screens, banner content (such as the text and effect settings you choose to display) is relayed through our backend (Supabase) solely to connect your own devices in real time. It is not used for advertising, sold, or shared with third parties, and is not retained beyond what's needed to operate the live sync session.

Microphone access: Multibanner includes an optional "Visualizer" background effect that reacts to ambient sound. If you enable this specific effect, the App requests microphone access to analyze audio in real time, entirely on your device. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere — it is processed instantly and discarded. You can decline microphone access and still use every other feature of the App.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Multibanner does not require an account to use, does not access your contacts, photos, files, or location, and does not contain advertising or ad-tracking SDKs of any kind. Your saved banner presets and settings are stored locally in the App on your device.

3. How We Use Information

The limited data described above is used only to operate core features (multi-device sync), keep the App stable (crash reporting), and understand which features are actually used so we can improve them (analytics). We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the App — Google Firebase (analytics and crash reporting) and Supabase (real-time device sync) — under their own respective privacy and security terms. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Data Security

All data in transit between the App and our services is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Locally stored presets remain on your device and are not accessible to other apps.

6. Your Choices & Rights

Microphone access is optional and can be revoked at any time in Android Settings without affecting the rest of the App. You can clear all locally stored presets by clearing the App's data/storage in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the App. To request deletion of any sync-related data associated with your device, contact us using the details below.

7. Children's Privacy

Multibanner is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
